Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis posted on Instagram that his March 1 fight with Lamont Roach has been canceled. Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) did not comment on why his fight was canceled.

Message from Tank: “The fight is fucking canceled.”

Fans on social media welcomed the cancellation. They don’t want to see this albatross, especially since it’s on PPV. They see it as a mismatch, with super featherweight Roach (25-1, 10 KOs) having no chance.

This problematic fight had already been postponed once from the original date of December 14, and fans criticized it from day one.
